Debbie was raised in Hampton, VA before moving to Smithfield in 2005 . She is the Vice President of Administration and Human Resources at Warwick Mechanical Group in Newport News, VA. In this role, Debbie oversees and manages multiple aspects of business operations, including general administration, safety & risk management, policy and regulatory compliance, as well as procedural development and implementation.  She is a Board of Director for WMG and is also a Trustee for the Local 110 United Association of Plumbers & Pipefitters Health & Welfare and Annuity Plans. 

Debbie and her husband Vernon own and operate Mason Martial Arts Academy in Smithfield, VA.  She is a black belt in Okinawan Shorin-ryu Karate and is a lifetime member and former Vice President of the Wythe Volunteer Rescue Squad in Hampton where she has been a member since 1978. They both enjoy volunteering with the community and spending time with their grandchildren.
