CURRENT OPENINGS:

Driver - Operator

Operate a variety of contractor equipment and trucks utilized in construction, maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements:

  • Operate trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling and unloading of various equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Operate trucks and construction or power equipment, such as backhoe, man-lift, front-end loader and boom truck.
  • Operate small equipment and tools as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.
  • Maintains a driver’s log that may include recording of deliveries, pickups and mileage.
  • Assists in loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor that the incumbent has the ability to perform.

Qualifications:

Graduation from high school or GED equivalent, four (4) years experience involving the use of medium and heavy equipment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Considerable knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
  • Able to maintain simple records such as a driver’s log and mileage records.
  • Ability to observe proper safety precautions.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees.
  • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.

Licensing and Certification

Valid Class “A” CDL license.

Administrative Assistant - Receptionist

Objective: As the first point of contact for the company, the Receptionist should present and conduct herself in a professional manner at all times. The receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, greeting and announcing visitors, preliminary mail distribution, flow of correspondence, as well as providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes and greets visitors and callers in a professional manner.
  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
  • Provides information to callers as requested. (i.e. company address, directions, fax numbers, company website, etc.)
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintain maintenance and supplies for postage meter.
  • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services and keep the supplies stocked. (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to all departments including but not limited to: typing, copying, faxing, filing, laminating, etc.
  • Perform document scanning for Accounting.
  • Monitor & restock janitorial supplies weekly
  • Maintain security by ensuring all visitors sign in on Visitor’s log upon arrival and out when leaving.

  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
